Police in Mexico have arrested three people in connection with the disappearance of two Australian brothers.
Jake and Callum Robinson were on a camping and surfing trip in Mexico’s Baja California region. They were travelling with a friend from the U.S., Jack Carter Rhoad.
The three men were reported missing after they failed to check in to an Airbnb on Saturday.
Police have since discovered a burnt-out car and abandoned tents believed to be used by the brothers and Rhoad.

The woman was allegedly found with one of the men’s phones. Police have not provided further details on the investigation.
The Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) said it’s offered assistance to Jake and Callum’s family, while Australia’s embassy in Mexico is working with local authorities.
Debra Robinson, mother of the missing brothers, flaggedfor Callum, who has type 1 diabetes.
Prime Ministertold Channel 7 on Friday morning that the matter was a “really concerning situation”.
“We hope that these brothers are found safely but there is real concern about the fact that they’ve gone missing. Their mother is obviously very distressed about this and we just hope for a positive outcome.”
