The two NSW teams in the Super Netball competition will refuse gambling sponsorship offers for at least the next two years.
The teams join 16 others from different sporting codes across NSW who have already pledged to block gambling sponsorships.

Netball is the most popular community sport among Australian women and girls.
It recently overtook AFL as the third-most played grassroots game in Australia.
Theis the highest level of the sport in Australia, which Netball Australia says attracts over eight million viewers.

NSW Super Netball teams the Swifts and the Giants will now ban sports betting advertising at their home games. Stadium banners and on-court promotions for sports betting will be removed.
Instead, they will promote the NSW Government’scampaign.
In Victoria, over 700 local and elite sporting teams have agreed to refuse gambling sponsorships. The South Australian and Queensland governments also have programs designed to limit gambling harm associated with sport.
What doesn’t it affect?
The partnership doesn’t affect gambling advertisements online or on sports broadcasts (which are controlled by the broadcaster).
The federal government is also currently considering a recommendation by a parliamentary committee to phase out online gambling advertising over three years.
It has not said when it will respond to this recommendation.
