Parts ofhave seen up to 24mm of rainfall since 9am on Monday, which is contributing to the flooding.

The BOM has forecast up to 90mm of rainfall over 48 hours across Monday and Tuesday in parts of Gippsland.

Damaging winds are expected to reach up to 70km/h over Falls Creek and Mt Hotham in the state’s northeast. Wind gusts reached 93km/h earlier this morning at Mt Hotham.
