Public transport in Western Australia will be free for all school students from Monday to Friday.
WA Premier Roger Cook has also‘Fare Free Sundays’ for all commuters, launching 4 February.
It comes after the WA Government launchedfor the summer holiday period, which ends today.
Free travel for school students will begin on 5 February.

Free public transport in Western Australia
Premier Cook said the free summer program “saw a massive leap in public transport use” across the state, at a time of rising cost of living pressures.
To use free transport, travellers must have a SmartRider card. Adult cards cost $10 and student cards are $5.
The government estimated free travel to and from school will save WA families around $280 per student, per year.
