The first Australian Trump Tower will open in Surfers Paradise at the end of the decade. It is set to overtake Melbourne’s ‘Australia 108’ as the country’s tallest building.

The Trump Organization and Altus Property Group announced the $AU1.5 billion project this week, featuring a hotel, apartments, private beach club, and a retail and dining precinct.

The 340-metre building will feature a sign with the Trump name in front.

Altus owner David Young called it a “famous development” that he is “very proud of”.
