Why is Bruce Lehrmann suing media outlets?

Former Liberal staffer Bruce Lehrmann has been in the news over the last two years for a variety of reasons. This week, Lehrmann is in court after alleging some media outlets defamed him in their coverage. Lehrmann settled his case with the ABC yesterday morning, but the case against Channel 10 continues.
