State and territory leaders have agreed to strengthen gun laws in the wake of Sunday’s Bondi terror incident, which saw 15 innocent people killed during a targeted antisemitic attack. According to police, a 50-year-old gunman who died at the scene was the licensed owner of multiple firearms. Those guns, weapons he owned lawfully, were used in Sunday’s attack. Today, we’ll explain current gun laws, and what leaders are calling for in response to Sunday’s attack.
