NSW Police has charged four teenagers with the aggravated sexual assault of a 17-year-old girl.
The alleged assault took place over six hours in Western Sydney in December 2024.
All of the alleged offenders are male, and range in age from 14 to 19.
Police arrested two of the four on 20 December, and the other two on Tuesday morning.
All four have been refused bail.
Assault
On 15 December 2024, a 16-year-old boy approached a 17-year-old girl at a shopping centre in the western Sydney suburb of Liverpool.
Police said that after he followed her to her car, she “reluctantly” let him in, at which point he allegedly assaulted her.
It’s alleged the boy filmed the assault and video-called three other teenagers at the time.
The girl told police she then agreed to drop him off at a park, if it meant he would get out of her car.
At the park, police allege two of the teenagers on the video call pulled up in another car. They got into the girl’s car and also allegedly assaulted her.
After this, the fourth teenager who had been on the call arrived and got into the car.

It’s alleged the group drove around the area “erratically,” continuing to assault the girl into the night.
Police said this went on for six hours before two of the teenagers were dropped off, and the remaining two drove back to the park and assaulted the girl again.
Once the remaining two teenagers left, the girl called a friend, who went with her to Liverpool Police Station, where she filed a report and received medical care.
Five days after the alleged assault, police arrested two teenage boys, aged 14 and 16.
Investigations continued until this week, when police arrested an 18-year-old and a 19-year-old male.
Police
Speaking to media on Wednesday, NSW Detective Superintendent Jayne Doherty said the attack did not appear to be pre-meditated.
“There was no prior contact with the victim as far as we know,” Doherty said.
She added that the alleged assault “will affect [the victim’s] life forever”.
“It beggars belief that, in this day and age, that men would think to act this way towards a girl and not just instantaneously, but over a six-hour period, continuing to act together and encourage each other and degrade the victim in the way that they did... It beggars belief that someone as young as 14 could have these beliefs and actions," Doherty said.
